Mother's Watcher
Eerie street with ghostly figure by a parked car / AI Generated

When my brother was very young, my mother was driving down the street in Franklin and came to a very busy intersection. The streets were so busy that she decided to go down a back street and wait for traffic to subside. When she parked on a corner, she turned around to play with my brother in the back seat. She saw that someone, a man outside his window, already had his attention. She quickly turned away and then turned back to my brother. When she saw the man still there, she pressed the accelerator and sped out of there.

When my mother got home, she turned on the news and found that a fatal accident had occurred right where she had been parked. She believes her grandfather’s ghost saved her life.
