In downtown Elkins, there are a lot of old buildings. On Davis Avenue, a long time ago there was a great fire that destroyed 3 blocks of the city and 12 people died. One of those people was Sharah Goodwest. She died in the old Opera house. If you go to the Wilson building, which now stands where the Opera house was, you can hear her scream.
Another place is the train station, one night a group of friends and I went there at around 11 pm. We were just hanging out when a man dressed in a conductor’s outfit walked up to us and said “you’re going to miss your train” then disappeared.
If you go to Davis Memorial Hospital, you will either see or hear a ghost. This I promise.
